For Immediate Release
Starbridge Media Group, Inc. executives Jamie Crittenberger and Ken Hutman will appear on an upcoming edition of “The Today Show” on NBC-TV, the company announced today.
As part of a featured piece highlighting NASCAR’s burgeoning youth marketing initiative, the two Starbridge founders will discuss the company’s upcoming comic book publishing program, which is set to launch with a fan-interactive balloting process at the Daytona 500 in February. The “Today Show” segment, which will include other NASCAR youth-related licensees, is tentatively scheduled to air on September 29.
“To be included as part of a feature on this high-profile NASCAR initiative on America’s top morning show is exciting,” said Starbridge Media Group President Ken Hutman. “It’s great exposure for our company and the comic books publishing program we’re developing on behalf of NASCAR.”
The first issue of Starbridge’s NASCAR comic books series is scheduled to debut in the first quarter of 2007.
The “Today” appearance follows on the heels of Starbridge’s recent receipt of two Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards for production of the “Eagles Kids Club Show” with the Philadelphia Eagles. The program won Emmys for Best Sports Program Series and Best Youth Program.
“The world of sports-related family programming is really taking off,” said Starbridge CEO Jamie Crittenberger. “We’re thrilled to be on the cutting edge of it.”
